Cross formation take overs,run w/ball
 
Players learn timing, controlling the ball, takeovers
 

Practice set-up:
A cross shaped formation formed by 4 files of players. Each file 5-12 meters apart.
2 neighbour files have 1 ball each. Each player runs/dribbles with the ball in turn, to the opposite side.
On the opposite side, the next player performs a take over, by taking the ball and dribbling it to the other side.
The players must avoid to crash into eachother as they move with the ball.

Equipment:
2 Balls

Progression:
Increase the distance between the files.

Player 1 and 2 appraoch eachother. Player 1 has the ball


Cross formation take overs,run w/ball
Player 1 leaves the ball, Player 2 takes over the ball


Cross formation take overs,run w/ball
Group 2 (Red players), starts to approach eachother.
Group 1 (Blue player), run towards their files

Cross formation take overs,run w/ball
Group 2 (red players) has reach eachother. Player 4 overtakes the ball from player 3.
The players in Group 1 puts themselves in the back of their files.
A new set of players from Group 1 (blue players), gets ready to start.
