Practice set up:
Two files of players face each other with 10 meters apart. One ball at their feet.
The first player in one of the files starts to run in a straight line with the ball.
As he dribbles the ball across the line on the other side, the first player in the opposite file starts to run with the ball.
This creates momentum in the exercise. Both feet should be used.
As the players become better at the drill, the tempo / distance can be increased
Equipment:
Cones, 1 ball pr player.
Progression:
The drill can be done with 1 ball only. Each player uses the sole of his feet to stop the ball when he has run to the other side.
The next player takes over the ball and starts to run.
